One of the Biggest Races of the Season
This Philadelphia classic has gone through many name changes; however, remains one of the most sought after titles for over 25 years! With all the atmosphere of a World Championship, it's an amazing race to be a part of. For this reason, the women's field always exceeds 140 starters! Unfortuantely, with that number of riders and their differeing levels of experience, crashes are practically guraranteed on the first lap. A number of our Victory riders (myself included) were caught behind one such crash; however, we were able to catch back on to the main peleton after a long hard chase effort. Our young rider Kim Geist won the Best Young Rider's award - maintaining Victory's hold on that very special title!
